My cousin Daniel had his eye surgery on Friday. They were able to extract two of the three pellets in his eye. He is recovering well but a little groggy from the vicodin. When we arrived at the surgery center, Daniel was only scheduled to have an eye surgery but ended up having his hand fixed too. Daniel was supposed to have the four lead pellets removed from his hand which was going to cost an extra $3,000.00 but my family couldn't afford it.
They decided that it was more important to fix his eye, so the hand would have to wait until later. Daniel, my aunt and I went into the patient prep room to wait for the doctor. The eye doctor came in and ask some general questions then left the room. The doctor came in a little later and told us that the hand surgeon was going to be in the surgery center and that he was going to do Daniel's hand surgery for free! We are all so happy that Daniel is mostly completely fixed and so glad that God provides for our every need.
